First Steamship Company’s service includes crewmember recruit ,selection and training. Our time-tested training program ensures all crewmembers are well suited and fully capable of performing the required service. The company also periodically schedules a number of general courses for the crewmembers, enriching the standard program.
The crewmembers after completed their 9 months contact, they would have been evaluated twice, i.e. Middle and Final evaluation reports, which were countersigned by Masters and or Chief Engineers. The affirming crew will be arranged to re-join our fleet.
In the second day of interview, The Captains/Officers/Engineers who passed the examination / interview were participated a mainly courses, such as " The ISM Code and Company's requirements", "communication with the company", " PSC/USCG inspections" and " Masters / Chief Engineers Guidelines".
Above interviews are hosted by company's senior Captains and Chief Engineers.
FOR OFFICERS/ENGINEERS:
- The Commander and Leadership.
- The Prevention and Handling Shipboard Accidents.
- The Engine Room Management, Maintenance and bunkering.
- The key points of cargo/ship operations.
- PSC/USGC Inspection.
FOR ALL CREWMEMBERS:
- The Garbage Management and Sewage Treatment.
- Emergency Respond
- ISM Code and Company's Requirements.
The Boarding Team is organized by experienced Captains and Chief Engineers. And they will be dispatched to riding onboard and sailing with the ships for a certain period and each vessel will be attended twice in a year.

- Waste and Garbage Management.
- Marpol and Pollution prevention.
- Entering into Enclosed Spaces.
- Ballast Water Management.
- Shipping Casualty Emergency Response.
- The use of SART, EPIRB and Line Throwing Apparatus.
- Boat Fire Drills.
- Ship Board Access Control (ISPS Code).
